I don’t know about you but I reckon it’s high time we threw out that dusty, stereotype-filled rule book and redefined what professional looks like for the modern era. Are you up for starting a movement!?
In this episode I talk through three particularly spicy topics when it comes to the debate on professionalism: sharing shit about yourself on LinkedIn, swearing, how you look (tattoos, piercings etc) and last but not least: the long last art of humour.
I discuss where I think these debates originated, my strong opinions on each, and what action I think we need to be taking to throw out the old tropes and be less judgmental of stuff that isn’t any of our business. Because really, what IS our business is BUSINESS, not what the person doing that business looks or sounds like, ya hear me?
